Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and our desire to keep our community safe and healthy, the Cashton Library Fall Fest Five is going virtual this year! This allows participants to register for a run or walk distance in a safe location of their choice, such as on a treadmill at home or outdoors along a favorite route. The race can be completed based upon the participant’s schedule between the dates of August 29 through September 12, 2020.
HOW DOES OUR VIRTUAL 5K WORK?
- Register here under "Tickets". If you are wanting to pay via cash or check, forms are also available on our website www.wrlsweb.org/cashton
- Run or walk a 5K any time between the dates of August 29 through September 12, 2020. Choose your own route: take to the treadmill, run in your neighborhood, wherever you like!
- Share photos on Facebook using our hashtag #CLVirtual5K. A medal will be given for the most creative social media post!
- Everyone who registers for the event will be put into a drawing for our grand prize—a family membership to Norskedalen Nature & Heritage Center.
The 5K has always been a fundraiser for Cashton Library. Funds raised help us to provide new materials, programs and services for our community and the surrounding area. Your registration is key in helping us to continue this work and we hope that you will still run strong in support of the Cashton Library.
We will not be providing t-shirts for our participants this year, but all registered participants will have their name put into a drawing for a prize basket featuring a one year family membership to Norskedalen & Nature Heritage Center.
